Uhh...what is that in the jar? Is it kimchi? Blech. Is that one of those, like sauerkraut, where you're supposed to bury it in the ground while it, what? Ferments? Wilts? Blech.

But your beans and pumpkin look awesome. No pumpkins for me this year. Damn cold, wet, summer.

Pretty much like the Kraut in Szechuan province, China. Or "bleached kimchi", if you want to say. Fermented, and pretty hot (though it doesn't look hot).

Isn't life's bounty wonderful? I see sourdough starter, and a lovely loaf too~ The pumpkin looks awesome! As do the purple beans. Gardinere is always such a fun addition to the table, I can see you have been busy. Enjoy~
