Pretty much like the Kraut in Szechuan province, China. Or "bleached kimchi", if you want to say. Fermented, and pretty hot (though it doesn't look hot).
Isn't life's bounty wonderful? I see sourdough starter, and a lovely loaf too~ The pumpkin looks awesome! As do the purple beans. Gardinere is always such a fun addition to the table, I can see you have been busy. Enjoy~
