HAHA! I thought it was just me that seemed like an odd name. Makes me think a mom version of Hot Topic (the alterna-teen mall store) - ew.
I personally like Bread & Honey because a)it's on my blog reader, easy. b)like someone else said, it's about simple, elemental food which fits your style and c) I enjoy when you blog because it's about everyday life & is funny. There's probably already a blog called that (everyday life), but I like that you're honest, and I find it really interesting what people cook day in and day out on regular budgets, not truffle oil budgets.
I think I found your blog because of the crazy frozen veggie thing - and/or the cakes in oranges camping thing. You state pretty clearly that some of the early content is from your friend, so I'm ok with that.
To be honest, I enjoyed looking at the pretty bake goods in the archives, but I've made your spanish rice 10x more.

Ok, I'm mostly posting in protest to the person who made the "USE TUMBLR" comment on the other post. Don't ever use tumblr, I'm sure you know this, being a photographer. It's kind of a Facebook situation where the host technically owns and can use your images a any time they wan without consulting he artist. Please don't use tumblr.

I love this blog. No matter what you call it. Don't even know how I fell in to it! Living in Tri-Cities, WA formerly Seattle but love to visit Portland! When I start to make my everyday cooking too complicated I check our your blog and your recipes and you remind me how simple and natural the process should be! Keep it up!

I just thought I'd say I love your blog... I love your art. I totally get what you are going through. I tried to have two separate blogs... ended up being a huge pain in the ass. Finally realized... art is life, life is art. Blog readers want to know you on a more personal level anyway... so just do it.. all of it.. be messy, it doesn't matter as long as you stay true to who you are. ALL of you... every facet. I used to think I had to excel at one thing... then realized that was damn stupid and women are amazingly good at doing EVERYTHING! Okay maybe not everthing... but close. You get my point... you are too talented to corner yourself.
