Well dudes, you can imagine why I'm not posting much- right now my kitchen looks like this:
And, conveniently, I started coming down with a gnarly cold THE DAY WE STARTED MOVING. So, mostly I've been nursing myself back to health the best I can, and organizing a tiny bit at a time. It looks messy, true- but here's what it looked like when we first got the house:
Eesh. Anyway, regular posting to resume as soon as possible. Cough, cough.

I like the green paint inside the white cabinets, it's so very Martha Stewart! Well done, and oh how much work it is to move and improve. Take it easy, catching a cold means that your body is telling you to slow the f*** down. Make time for some tea and soup and feel better soon!
Love the green at the back of the cabinets!
Wow!! the work you have done looks amazing!
beautiful so far! I dream of the day I'm a homeowner. Kitchen envy!! Way to go :)
Oohhh! Love the open shelving and your GREEN! ;-) Feel better soon!
i *love* what you did with the cabinets!! gorgeous! i'm moving in two weeks, one carload at a time until the last day when the truck comes for all the furniture. no matter how gradual you try and make it it's always overwhelming. you'll love the end result, though.
i have something nasty, too. hoping it's not swine flu. staying rested all weekend and drinking till my kidneys wanna burst ... erm, water that is!! lol. be well xo
Ooh! I can't wait for the project to be finished! It's so wonderful already. Green + cream + light-filled room = new favorite room in the house.
Love what you've done with the kitchen! That's really too bad falling ill when you guys were moving :(
I love the colors of the cabinets! Especially the green!
Have some chicken soup and feel better soon!!
Those shots of green in the white cabinets look swank!
Get better soon, lots of tea and cosiness for you!
xx
Feel better! Love what you've done with the kitchen! When we moved into our condo 7 years ago, we did the same thing - painted the 1960s cabinets in bright colors, removed the doors, and made it ours...a kitchen needs to feel like a comfy space, and must be tackled before you feel like its HOME. Bravo!
I love the colours! Feel better soon :)
i looks SO PRETTY! love love the green.
Love the green against the white. I envy that you dare to leave the cabinets open (assuming it's intentional) - it looks fabulous (I'd be too lazy to clean in there!)
Great work!
I am impressed with how much progress you have made on your kitchen, already even with your cold. The new color is lovely. I hope that you have a speedy recovery and I look forward to seeing more updates!
I love your kitchen! Its so cute!
Great job on the cabinets. You will love the open spaces, very handy.
I once painted a kitchen "luscious moss"--because who could resist that name? ...We sold the place several years back, and both the realtor and the buyer were equally taken by the luscious moss.
what a great job you have done on your kitchen! You should start a diy blog next!!
Nice job!
I hope you show us more of this!!
I love all your blogs!
