Tonight I had a pretty delicious combination of stuff laying around- brioche buns, freshly made pesto, heirloom tomatoes, avocado. The solution seemed pretty obvious.
Sorry my food blog has basically devolved into the occasional update of food porn, haha! I keep sitting here trying to think of something witty to say, but I've got nothing. Brain fried, y'all!

i don't think much needs to be said when you post pictures of a tomato, avocado and pesto sandwich on brioche.
i'm about to go to bed and i'm hungry... this is just not fair.

Food porn is always good!
When the good weather hits, I pretty much eat nothing else besides sandwiches like these. Nothing wrong with it at all!
Maybe because it's summer but I've been dying to make this same sandwhich. Finally went out and bought the fixins this weekend. Mmmm

yummm i have seriously been craving avocados every day for the past week. i never buy them b/c i'm too impatient and just want to eat them right away instead of waiting for them to ripen. that sandwich looks amazing though, i might just have to get some.

it's ok; all our brains are fried. :) besides, when you have tomatoes and avocado like those, the best idea is usually the simplest one.

AHHH! You just saved my dinner. I have all these things laying around. Why did my brain want to mush up the tomatoes in the pesto when they can simply rest upon the pesto?
